sam’s garden
[ UWE YEAR 3 - TERM 1 - PERFECT CONDITIONS ]
One of my projects consisted of creating a two colour, narrative publication that focused on our chosen subject, mine being perfect conditions.
I chose to focus the narrative around my housemate, sam, who picked up gardening during the summer of last year. I created a publication that used photographs and illustrations to explore what he deemed as his perfect conditions to be and how he achieved this within his garden.
Used prominent visual elements from the greenhouse and garden as references for my illustrations. I chose to use a green, monochrome, colour scheme in order to tie in the theme of plants and gardening to the publication itself. I also shot a series of images of sam in his perfect conditions in order to add visual context to the narrative within the book.
